On May 31st, we will resume normal, live gatherings. We will also return to Life Group meetings starting on June 3rd. Safety equipment (masks, sanitizer, etc) will be provided for those that need it for our live gatherings. We will continue to live stream our gatherings and encourage those that feel safer at home to join us online. Families attending in person will need to sit together and use a "three chair rule" for social distancing. We hope you will join us in person or online. Thank you!
We want to help your family, no matter what it looks like. Did you know only 20% of families in the US are made up of married couples living with their own biological children? Most churches aren’t meeting these parents and families where they have needs. We want to change that. We recognize that your family matters. And, we want to matter to your family. 73% of kids say that their parents, not the church, are the people who make them happiest.* So, we want to help families be the best they can be. We like to call that God’s best for your family. You may not know what that looks like, but we believe that with God's help we can help you get there.
"I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out — plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for."
Our worship service is a casual environment. No suits or ties required! The goal of a worship service is to celebrate God’s love, learn more about God and apply that to our life. We choose to do that through live action drama, interactive environments, great music and a practical message that, if applied, can change your life. Many people get to know us first through this service.
Our life groups are the next step. You will want to take that step fairly quickly. Our life groups are where we live life together. This is how you will get to know and care for others, as well as being cared for. This becomes your “extended family.”
We connect with God and with others in these groups. These usually have a common mission where they minister to others and make a difference in the community. Which leads us to . . .
. . . giving to others. This is your next step. As you grow closer to God and to others you will desire to give and serve more. This is natural. God made us this way. In your family and your life group you will find ways to give of your time to help feed someone, to give of your resources to help comfort someone, and yes, to give of your money to help support someone. Perhaps you could even share your story of your greatest love with them?
Engage means to take part in something. We believe it is critical that families, with all their pressures and problems, not only need to be apart of each other's lives but also that they be involved with a loving God. Our process is pretty simple.
Daily, our culture searches for true love and says it loves the truth. However, where we search for truth matters. God created both truth and love. He calls us to respond to him in truth and love. Worship. Loving and enjoying God!
You can’t make it by yourself. Living life in isolation is unhealthy. We need each other! Jesus told us to love God and to love one other. Followers of Jesus call this community. Community is about being a part of something bigger than yourself, enfolding into God's family.
All of us love getting gifts! It is so much fun to know someone thought of you, isn’t it? But what about giving? Which is better? What does our culture teach? In the Bible, it says that “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” We are called to enrich the lives of those around us!
